Film and Print For film and print, we obtain three quotes on all major jobs. We have working relationships with seven separate film houses (both PC and Mac based) and approximately twelve printers (web press and sheet-fed printers based on the job specs). This gives us an opportunity to match the job with the right suppliers, with terrific savings as a result |
Attention to detail ensures quality & virtually eliminates cost overruns. For example, extremely small runs might suit acopy shop, whereas the production of 300,000 brochures should be quoted on both a web and sheet-fed press.

On some occasions, it is more economical to use a sheet-fed press (e.g. for the cover) in combination with a web press (e.g. for the inside pages).

Obligations
is five works closely with its clients on the choice of paper (both size and type) to achieve the expected results. We are often called upon to advise on the use of colour, and in the case of certain books and manuals, the selection of appropriate bindings. |
If we are working with an in-house design team, we often take on the role of scheduling so that the project meets timelines and is completed as planned.

We encourage our clients, if they wish, to participate at any stage of the creative, pre-production and print stages of development.

Fees
As a broker, we receive wholesale prices from all our suppliers, both in film and printing. Trade and commerce companies recognize the service we are providing, so our fee is a commission from them and is included in our quotes. |
We know from the amount of work we have produced in the past decade that clients who have compared our quotes with other suppliers continue to be imimpressed with the prices we are able to obtain for them.
